Rollins and Barrable come from behind
The short race in particular claimed many casualties as a map error took around 80% off track very early in the course. Steve Palmer, back for his first UK Cup race of the season coped best with this time loss and ran a strong race to finish just ahead of a pack of 5, all split by only 13 seconds! Helen Winskill kept a cool head and managed to keep her mistakes small to take yet another victory.

Sunday's long race saw over 60% of the men's class caught out by the strange first control so packs formed early. Nick Barrable ran a confident race with few mistakes to take a 3 minute victory ahead of Allan Bogle. Similarly, Sarah Rollins got it right to win by 3 minutes over Jenny Whitehead. This was enough for Barrable and Rollins to take the overall victory for the weekend.

Congratulations to everyone who took part!
